U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy Tests Positive for Coronavirus
Wednesday night, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy found out that he was exposed to an individual with coronavirus. Then, he tested positive on Thursday for the illness.
"I am strictly following the direction of our medical experts and strongly encourage others to do the same," says Cassidy, who is also a doctor.
Cassidy says he is strictly adhering to all CDC recommendations, including quarantining for 14 days and notifying those with whom he may have come into contact.
