UL Basketball Hosts Loyola – At A Glance
Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun men’s basketball team returns to the hardwood on Wednesday evening, when coach Bob Marlin’s squad plays host to the Loyola (New Orleans) Wolf Pack in non-conference action.
The tilt will serve as the opening game of a short two-game homestand for Louisiana.
Tipoff time at the Cajundome is scheduled for 7 o'clock.

The Cajuns, who beat McNeese St., 92-72, last Saturday, has won 6-straight, and are 6-2 on the young season.
Louisiana is outscoring the opposition, 89.5/72.9, and outshooting them, 49%/45%, while also holding down a 41.5/30.5 rebound advantage.
The Cajuns are paced by junior guard Frank Bartley, who is averaging 19.3 points and 3.3 rebounds, and junior forward Bryce Washington, who is averaging 14.4 points, to go along with 11.5 rebounds.
Loyola, an NAIA school, and a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference, beat the College of Coastal Georgia last Saturday, 66-64, to improve to 8-2 on the season.
The Wolf Pack is outscoring opponents, 77.5/69.1, and outshooting them, 47%/43%, while holding down a 39.3/34.6 rebounding advantage.
Loyola is led by junior guard Nick Parker, who is averaging 15.1 points and 5.8 rebounds-per-game, and senior forward Johnny Griffin Jr., who is at 14.8 and 11.0, respectively.
UL leads the all-time series, 2-0, including an 87-60 triumph back in 2014, the last time the two teams met.
