US 190 Speed Limit Lowered

The speed limit on US 190 near the Atchafalaya flooding area is being reduced today to 45 miles per hour to avoid accidents with displaced wildlife. Wildlife and Fisheries agents say the lower speed will give drivers enough time to react to fleeing animals to avoid a crash.
