Woman Found Dead Inside Of Her Car

Lafayette Police are investigating a woman's death after she was found dead inside of a car that had bullet holes in it.

Corporal Bridgette Dugas says 24-year-old Marisha M. Felix of Lafayette was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers were called out to the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive after there was a reports of shots fired just before 8 o'clock last night.

Lafayette Police are asking anyone who might know anything about this situation to call anonymously on the Crime Stoppers line at 337-232-TIPS(8477).
