Woman Killed Near UL Lafayette Campus

Lafayette police found a woman dead of an apparent homicide in her home on Sunday. Officers say they responded to the call in the 300 block of Taft Street. Responding officers went into the house to check on the 23-year-old woman and found her body. The exact cause of death has not been released.
