Young Man Shot To Death In Iberia Parish

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting that happened Olivier Road Wednesday night.

Deputies got to the scene where a large group of people pointed out a man with a chest wound on the ground.

While every effort was made to save the man, he did die at the scene.

Officials with the Iberia Parish Coroner's Office pronounced 22-year-old Noah Olivier dead at the scene.

Detectives say they do have a person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting, but they want anyone who knows anything to call Iberia Crime Stoppers at 337-369-TIPS(8477).
