Youngsville Man Arrested For Steroid Trafficking

A Youngsville man was arrested following a drug bust of more than $10,000 worth of illegal anabolic steroids.

Our news partner, KATC,  reported 32-year-old Heath Blanchard was booked Friday afternoon for possession with intent to distribute narcotics.

A Youngsville Police spokesman said Blanchard's arrest was part of a joint investigation with the Youngsville Police, Lafayette Parish Sheriff and the Metro Narcotics task force.

No bail had been set as of Friday afternoon.
