A new survey indicates the average American commits over 90 financial "fails" a year, wasting more than $300 a month. SWNS Digital reports, 32% of us waste money by getting takeout or having food delivered. The survey, conducted Onepoll indicates 54% of us overspend by eating out. 20% of Americans spend more money in a year than they earn.Fewer than half of us check our credit score at least once a month. Only 31% of us consistently put money into retirement savings. Nearly half of us (49%) have credit card debt we have no idea how we'll pay off. One in five of us pay bills late, incurring additional fees. Corporate America loves this.
