2 Sex Offenders Wanted By Acadia Sheriff’s Office; 2 Arrested

4 sex offenders are in trouble with the law again after home visits were completed by the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Unit recently.

40-year-old David Jones of Rayne and 28-year-old Quinarius Leblanc of Church Point were arrested for Failure to Register as a Tier 1 sex offender. Jones was also charged with Failure to Provide Community Notification as a sex offender.

52-year-old Kevin Bias of Rayne and 61-year-old Daniel Hoffpauir of Crowley are wanted for Failure to Register as a Tier 1 sex offender. Bias' last known address is 1808 Laurie Street Rayne, La. Hoffpauir's last known address is 1310 East Cedar Street in Crowley.

The goal of these visits is to assure that offenders are complying with the requirements of law. 25 sex offenders were visited overall.
