Acadiana Man Wanted For Failing To Register As Sex Offender Arrested

An Acadiana man wanted on several outstanding warrants is being sought by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office.

Major Ginny Higgins says they are asking for help from the public in finding 34-year-old Ryan Bonin who is wanted for not registering as a sex offender as he is required to do.

They are also wanted to find this man for skipping out on other charges.

34-year-old Ryan Bonin was arrested this morning by St. Martin Parish Sheriff's deputies.

The other charges they are seeking Bonin for including the following:

• Simple Battery
• Violation of a Protective Order
• Violation of a Temporary Restraining Order
• Three Counts of  Failure to Appear-Animals At Large

St. Martin Parish officials are asking anyone with any information at all about where Ryan Bonin can be found, to call their office at 337-394-3071, or they ask you to give them information by leaving a message at their Facebook page.

Bonin's last known address was in the 1300 block of Bayou Portage Road in St. Martinville.
