Acadiana Veterans Alliance Holds Event for Veterans

The Acadiana Veterans Alliance is holding an event for veterans and their dependents.

The Boots to Business Reboot is happening on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, from 9 am- 4 pm at the Immersive Technologies Enterprise (LITE center.)

The Boots to Business Reboot is an entrepreneurial training program that is designed for veterans and their dependants that have already made the transition back to civilian life.

What can veterans expect at this event?

The curriculum of Boots to Business Reboot includes:

Steps for evaluating business concepts
The foundational knowledge required to develop a business plan
Information on Small Business Administration resources
Additional technical assistance

This is not the only event that the group is hosting in the Acadiana area.

The Acadiana Veteran Alliance is also hosting a job fair on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 10 am- 12 pm at the Cajundome Convention Center.

Job seekers will be able to meet with potential employers in various fields of work.
