Armed Robbery At Apartment Complex

Last night around 11:00 pm, Lafayette Police responded to an apartment complex at 511 Bertrand Drive regarding an armed robbery. According to the four male victims, two black male suspects armed with handguns entered the apartment they were in and forced them to lie down on the ground.  The suspects then stole an I-Phone and an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in an unknown direction.  One of the victims received minor injuries when one of the suspects struck him in the head with a gun.

One of the suspects was described as a 6’0” tall black male with dreadlocks and a pierced eyebrow.  The second suspect is described as a short husky black male approximately 5’6” tall.  Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspects to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
