Two Jennings residents are calling the Acadia Parish Jail their home after they were arrested following an armed robbery.

According to Acadia Parish Sheriff's spokesperson Maxine Trahan, Alexis Guidry and Landon Hebert were arrested separately following an investigation stemming from an April 15th robbery.

A 28-year-old victim told authorities on the the night of the robbery he was riding in a vehicle Guidry was driving. Hebert, riding in the front passenger's seat, brandished a sawed off shotgun and robbed him of approximately $4,000. Hebert then struck the victim with an unknown object in the head before insisting the victim exit the vehicle.

Hebert was arrested on April 16 and charged with armed robbery and aggravated battery. Guidry was arrested on May 17 and was charged with armed robbery.
