Community Comes To Aid Of Man Who Loses House

A LeCompte man is thankful for friends and neighbors who've  come to his  aid, after his home burned down on Christmas. 62-year-old Richard Schneider was celebrating Christmas with his girlfriend's family when he got several frantic calls telling him to get home right away. He says he asked "What's the rush? Is my house on fire?" to which they replied  "yes  it  is". Schneider lost everything, but has been given clothing and shelter by  friends, neighbors and residents nearby.
