Congressman Landry Urges Vets To Sign Up for Benefits

Congressman Jeff Landry joined 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today and invited military vets to a registration day on Monday, July 30, 2012 in Breaux Bridge.  Landry said a large number of veterans have not registered and that effects benefits for all local veterans.

According to Congressman Landry,

"It appears that the Veteran's Administration allocates benefits to an area based on population density of veterans."

Landry went on to say that veteran's should register with the Veteran's Administration whether or not they plan to request benefits at the present time.  Landry says this will show a veteran population density to get the attention of the VA in Washington, DC.
