Duson police say they've cited a driver they say caused a crash involving a school bus.

That crash happened around 3 p.m. Tuesday on South Richfield Road between Anderson and Toby Mouton Roads.

According to Chief Kip Judice, Nicholas Leger veered his SUV into the wrong lane and into the path of the school bus. Leger's SUV hit the bus head-on. Three people inside the SUV, including a five-year-old and an eight-year-old, were taken to the hospital. No children were on board the bus when the crash happened. The driver of the bus was taken to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
