What could be better than "eating Lafayette"? How about if you were to Eat Lafayette and then Staycation in a Louisiana State Park? Well, now when you take advantage of the Eat Lafayette program and dine at Lafayette's locally owned and operated restaurants you can win the opportunity for a two-night stay at one of our state's incredible state parks.

Needless to say, the pandemic has put a damper on our usual Eat Lafayette fun. But in the Louisiana spirit of joie de vivre, we are pursuing our happiness in true Louisiana fashion. In addition to the Staycation at a Louisiana State Park, you could also win a shrimp boil for ten compliments of Louisiana Seafood.

Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser's office is providing the State Park Staycation. You can enter to win just by scanning the QR Code that you'll find on posters at participating Eat Lafayette restaurants. If you can't do the QR CODE, don't worry, you can just visit the website listed on the same poster for a chance to sign in.

Eat Lafayette is an annual Summertime campaign sponsored by Lafayette Travel. This year's campaign features over 200 locally owned and operated eateries in the Acadiana area. The opportunity to participate in Eat Lafayette and its many specials, including the Staycation giveaway with Lt. Governor Nungesser's office will continue through September 13th.
