Eunice Bank Robbed At Gunpoint

According to our news partners at KATC the State Bank on 4th and Walnut in Euncie was robbed this afternoon. Police Ronald Dies said the suspect ran off on foot after taking an undetermined amount of cash and leaving behind package said to contain a bomb. The suspect said the bomb would go off if anyone moved but the State Police bomb squad found no bomb in the package.

The robber is described as white female wearing a red plaid shirt, dark colored pants, sunglasses and a baseball cap. She produced a gun in the course of the robbery but nobody was injured.
