Eunice Barbershop Armed Robbery Suspect Sought (Audio)
Maj. Eddie Thibodeaux, spokesman for St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers, needs your help in solving local crime.
Thibodeaux joined KPEL's Rob and Bernie on Acadiana's Morning News to explain how you can be actively involved in solving the Crime of the Week, or other crimes in the parish.
This week's Crime Stoppers video features an armed robbery at a barber shop in Eunice.
The suspect sought for the Dec. 29, 2015 robbery was is described as a short male who was wearing a ski mask and hooded jacket.
The suspect entered Studio 412 to be confronted by the owner Rogers Allison Jr. The armed intruder brandished a 9mm pistol and shot Allison twice--once in the head, once in the arm.
Thibodeaux said callers with information about the crime may be eligible to earn up to a $1,000 reward. In addition, the victim's family is also offering a cash reward in this case.
