Fire Leaves Multiple Families Homeless

Fire investigators are still trying to figure out what started a fire in truck the night before Thanksgiving.  That blaze has left several families homeless this holiday weekend.

Investigators have yet to determine the cause of a fire that eventually destroyed ten apartment homes at the Arlington Park Townhouse Apartments in Carencro. The blaze erupted about 10:30 Wednesday night and took hours to put out. Officials say the fire began in a pickup truck, and then spread to the residences and seven other vehicles. One woman is said to have suffered minor smoke inhalation. She was treated and released at a local hospital.
