Gueydan Couple Safe After Pickup Crashes Into Home

According to our news partners at KATC at 6:15am today (Monday) an elderly Gueydan couple survived a pickup truck crashing into their home. The driver told police he lost control of his vehicle as it went through a hurricane fence and into the home. The house sustained moderate damage but is still livable. Driver impairment is not suspected.
