I-10 Reopens After Tuesday’s 18-Wheeler Crash (UPDATED)

UPDATE: Effective immediately, the left eastbound lane of I-10 has been reopened in the area of Tuesday's crash.

Effective immediately, the left eastbound lane of I-10 is closed for emergency bridge rail repairs after Tuesday's 18-wheeler crash.

The vehicle crashed into and flipped over a guardrail near the elevated portion of I-10 near the Butte LaRose Welcome Center in St. Martin Parish.

The repairs are happening between the Henderson/Cecilia exit and the Butte La Rose exit. It's expected to be completed by 10 p.m.
