I-10 Traffic At A Crawl Near Butte La Rose Near Big Rig Crash

Interstate 10 Westbound is open but, traffic is moving slowly near Butte LaRose after an 18-wheeler crashed into and flipped over a guardrail.

Our news partners at KATC reported the truck seemingly hit the guardrail near the elevated portion of I-10 near the Butte LaRose Welcome Center in St. Martin Parish.

Both lanes of travel are moving but, traffic is at a crawl due to debris in the road. The truck fell completely off of the elevated portion of the interstate to the ground.

The accident happened near mile marker 121.
