Here's a look at the accident in Baton Rouge that caught the attention of many drivers early Tuesday morning. What a way to start the day.

While we are discussing fire hydrants here, have you ever noticed that some hydrants are different colors? Well, it turns out that it's not by mistake that some are red, blue, or purple.

The various colors of fire hydrants indicate the amount of water flow, and some colors signify the source of water. For example, a purple fire hydrant indicates that the water it supplies is drawn from a nearby pond.

Bright colors are used for fire hydrants so that firefighters can easily locate them at night.
