Summer months in Louisiana can bring many surprises like hurricanes, heat warnings, and even waterspouts.

With temperatures reaching the unbearable mark in recent weeks, we've seen some wicked weather and storms in south Louisiana and now we have another look of waterspouts over a waterway here in the "Bayou State."

WDSU shared a video shot by Ehryel Wade that shows two huge waterspouts near the Twin Spans in Slidell.

As you can see below, this was a very eery scene as vehicles went across the waterway, luckily no one seemed to be injured by the waterspouts as they swept across the waterway in south Louisiana.

Some on social media thought tornadoes were forming as storms stretched across the southern portion of the state, but there were just huge waterspouts.
