Lockdown Lifted At L.J. Alleman (UPDATED)

Update: The lock down has been lifted as L.J. Alleman and everyone is safe.

From our partners at KATC TV: Lafayette Police have locked down the campus of L.J. Alleman for a weapon search after live ammunition was found in a bathroom.

The school was placed on lock down and police were called in to search the school.

No gun was found. Board officials say the lock down should be lifted shortly.
