Lafayette City Marshal Gets A ‘Two-fer’

Lafayette City Marshal's deputies went to a home on 12th Street today to execute a warrant for the arrest of Isis Josiah Livings for four counts of theft by worthless check. She was placed under arrest after being found hiding in a closet.

Deputies also found Martavus Francis in the home and discovered he was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear for pre-trial possession of marijuana. Francis was also arrested.

Livings was booked on the original warrant and a new charge of resisting an officer was added. Both Livings and Francis were booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
