Louisiana law enforcement officials say the search is on for a woman who is an ex-restaurant employee who they have a warrant for in connection with at least one burglary at a Taco Bell restaurant.

Sergeant Robin Green, the Lafayette Police Department's public information officer, says the "Crime of the Week" for Lafayette Crime Stoppers features the search for a woman named Asia Malveaux.

What Is Known About The Case?

Green says that Malveaux is a former employee of a Taco Bell location. As investigators investigated the burglary of the location in the 2300 block of Kaliste Saloom, they developed the woman as a suspect in the case.

According to the social media post by Lafayette Crime Stoppers, a felony warrant has been issued for Malveaux.

Law enforcement officials are hoping that someone who knows the whereabouts of Asia Malveaux or has information about the burglary at the Kaliste Saloom restaurant will contact them to help them locate Malveaux.
