UPDATE: CAPTURED; Lafayette Man Wanted For Child Sex Crimes

Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry says that the Lafayette man they were looking for has been apprehended in Rapides Parish.
Attorney General Jeff Landry says after multiple tips, deputies from the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Offices were able capture Richard in Otis area of the parish.
Richard was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Parish Detention Center today.
Landry says,
"I am grateful for our federal, state and local law enforcement partners. Thanks to these partnerships, the public's watchful eye, and the quick response by the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office, another criminal is off our streets."

Attorney General Jeff Landry and his Cyber Crime Unit are looking for a Lafayette man accused of child sex crimes.
Landry's office said 65-year-old Durice "Joey" Richard, of Lafayette, is wanted by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation on the following charges:
- 30 counts of possession of sexual abuse images/videos of children
- 2 counts of possession of sexual abuse images/videos of children
- 2 counts of attempted production of sexual abuse images/videos of children
- Iindecent behavior with a juvenile
- Computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
Richard was last known to be in the Lafayette area. The AG's Office says that Richard is an electrician who sells generators.
He is believed to be driving a white Chevrolet Silverado truck with a large dent on the back.
