Lafayette PD Looking For Armed Robbery Suspect

Early this morning, at approximately 1:35 am, Lafayette Police responded to the 100 block of Roosevelt Street regarding an armed robbery.  The victim advised police that he was walking to his vehicle when the suspect came from behind him and held him up at gunpoint.  The suspect removed the victim’s wallet from his pants and then fled the area on foot.  The victim, a 22 year old male of Lafayette, was not injured during the robbery.  

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspect to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
