Two large shopping centers in Lafayette have been reportedly purchased by a Houston Texas based development group. KATC TV is reporting that Gulf Coast Commercial Group has acquired Ambassador Row Shopping Center and Ambassador Courtyards Shopping Center.

The two shopping areas contain retailers Bed Bath and Beyond, Chuck E. Cheese's, World Market, and others.

These are highly visible shopping centers located at one of Lafayette’s busiest and most recognized intersections. We’ll be taking a hands-on approach to management and leasing and we’re excited about what’s in store.

Those comments were made by Danny Miller, vice president of the Gulf Coast Commercial Group via press release as reported by The Advocate.

The group is no stranger to making investments in Louisiana based properties. Gulf Coast Commercial Group has already revitalized the Kroger Marketplace in Lake Charles and recently purchased Siegen Village Shopping Center in Baton Rouge.
