The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Friday, August 14th.

There have been 136,737 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 1,298 more reported cases since yesterday.

Numbers show that there are 1,243 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's 77 fewer hospitalizations since yesterday.

197 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 14 fewer yesterday.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,307. That is 28 more reported deaths since yesterday.

As of today, 103,512 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 3rd. That's 14,429 presumed recovered patients since the last report released.

The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 22,190 with 502 total deaths reported.

Lafayette Parish: 7,916 total cases, 100 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,602 total cases, 75 total deaths

(Up 14 reported cases since yesterday; Up 1 reported death since yesterday)

St. Martin Parish: 1,784 total cases, 47 total deaths

(Up 24 reported cases since yesterday; Up 1 reported death since yesterday)

St. Mary Parish: 1,666 total cases, 59 total deaths

(Up 8 reported cases since yesterday; Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)

St. Landry Parish: 2,866 total cases, 93 total deaths

(Up 25 reported cases since yesterday; Up 1 reported death since yesterday)

Acadia Parish: 2,684 total cases, 89 total deaths

(Up 11 reported cases since yesterday; Up 1 reported death since yesterday)

Evangeline Parish: 958 total cases, 9 total deaths

(Up 12 reported cases since yesterday; Up 2 reported deaths since yesterday)

Vermilion Parish: 1,714 total cases, 28 total deaths

(Up 25 reported cases since yesterday; Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
