There have been 140,821 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 918 more reported cases since yesterday.

Numbers show that there are 1,087 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's 73 fewer hospitalizations since yesterday.

178 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 3 more than yesterday.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,496. That is 28 more reported deaths since yesterday.

As of today, 118,120 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 17th. That's 14,608 presumed recovered patients since the last report released.

The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 22,577 with 533 total deaths reported.

Lafayette Parish: 8,074 total cases, 104 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,644 total cases, 80 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,703 total cases, 65 total deaths

(Up 9 reported cases since yesterday; Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)

St. Landry Parish: 2,968 total cases, 102 total deaths

(Up 18 reported cases since yesterday; Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)

Acadia Parish: 2,731 total cases, 92 total deaths

(Up 19 reported cases since yesterday; Up 1 reported death since yesterday)

Evangeline Parish: 992 total cases, 17 total deaths

Vermilion Parish: 1,761 total cases, 32 total deaths
