LDH: July 24th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Friday, July 24th.
There have been 103,734 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. There are 2,084 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 1,600 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized, the highest number since May 1. That is 15 more hospitalizations reported since yesterday.
197 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is the same amount of patients that was reported yesterday.
The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 3,603. That is 29 more reported deaths since yesterday.
As of today, 61,456 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered. That's 8,168 more recovered patients since last week.
The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 15,472 with 348 total deaths reported.
Lafayette Parish: 5,519 total cases, 73 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 1,869 total cases, 56 total deaths

St. Martin Parish: 1,358 total cases, 34 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,238 total cases, 40 total deaths

St. Landry Parish: 1,774 total cases, 69 total deaths
