The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Monday, July 27th.

There have been 109,917 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. There are 2,343 more reported cases since yesterday.

Numbers show that there are 1,600 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's up 43 since yesterday.

208 patients are on ventilators across the state. That's 24 more than were reported yesterday.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 3,674 That is 23 more reported deaths since yesterday.

As of today, 61,456 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered. That's 8,168 more recovered patients since last week.

The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 16,570 with 362 total deaths reported.

Lafayette Parish: 5888 total cases, 78 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,057 total cases, 58 total deaths

(Up 54 reported cases since yesterday, Up 1 reported death since yesterday)

St. Martin Parish: 1,429 total cases, 36 total deaths

(Up 30 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)

St. Mary Parish: 1,312 total cases, 42 total deaths

(Up 25 reported new cases since Friday, Down 1 reported death since yesterday)

St. Landry Parish: 1,927 total cases, 69 total deaths

(Up 38 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 new reported deaths since yesterday)

Acadia Parish: 2,215 total cases, 63 total deaths

(Up 42 reported cases since yesterday, Up 1 new death reported since yesterday)

Evangeline Parish: 641 total cases, 2 total deaths

Vermilion Parish: 1,142 total cases, 14 total deaths
