LDH: July 29th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Wendesday, July 29th.
There have been 112,773 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 1,735 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 1,544 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's down 39 since yesterday.
221 patients are on ventilators across the state. That's 7 more than were reported yesterday.
The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 3,769. That is 69 more reported deaths since yesterday.
As of today, 74,246 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered. That's 12,790 presumed recovered patients since the last report released last week.
The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 17,039 with 384 total deaths reported.
Lafayette Parish: 6,023 total cases, 79 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,111 total cases, 60 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,342 total cases, 47 total deaths
