LDH: July 31st Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Friday, July 31st.
There have been 116,280 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 1,799 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 1,546 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That's up 22 since yesterday.
222 patients are on ventilators across the state. That's 17 more than were reported yesterday.
The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 3835. That is 24 more reported deaths since yesterday.
As of today, 74,246 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered. That's 12,790 presumed recovered patients since the last report released last week.
The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 17,468 with 398 total deaths reported.
Lafayette Parish: 6,155 total cases, 84 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,160 total cases, 62 total deaths

St. Martin Parish: 1,461 1468 total cases, 42 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,356 1381 total cases, 48 total deaths
