LDH: July 3rd Louisiana COVID-19 Update
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Friday, July 3rd.
There have been 63,289 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. There are 1,728 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 852 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized - 12 more than were reported yesterday.
93 patients are on ventilators across the state.
The total number of deaths reported due to the coronavirus is now at 3,170, a increase of 23 deaths since yesterday.
As of today, 43,026 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered. That's 3,234 more recovered patients since last week.
LDH will observe Independence Day and not update the COVID-19 dashboard on July 4. Reporting will resume July 5.
The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 6,809 with 260 total deaths reported.
Lafayette Parish: 2,645 total cases, 47 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 844 total cases, 44 total deaths
(Up 96 reported cases since Wednesday, No new reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Martin Parish: 779 total cases, 28 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 550 total cases, 38 total deaths
(Up 36 reported cases, No new reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Landry Parish: 716 total cases, 57 total deaths
(Up 63 reported cases since Wednesday, No new reported deaths since yesterday)
Acadia Parish: 968 total cases, 39 total deaths

Evangeline Parish: 216 total cases, 1 total death
