LDH: June 11th Louisiana COVID-19 Update
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Thursday, June 11th.
There are now 44,472 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That is 442 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 553 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized - 4 more than yesterday.
77 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 5 more patients since yesterday
The total number of deaths reported due to the coronavirus is now at 2,874, an increase of 19 since yesterday.
As of today, 33,904 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered. That's 2,176 more recovered patients since last week.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the Acadiana region is 2,842 with 209 deaths reported.
Lafayette Parish: 957 cases, 33 deaths
(Up 26 new cases, 3 new deaths reported since yesterday)
Iberia Parish: 430 cases, 41 deaths
(Up 2 new cases, 0 new deaths reported since yesterday)
St. Martin Parish: 307 cases, 25 deaths
(Up 12 new cases, 0 new deaths since yesterday)
St. Mary Parish: 346 cases, 33 deaths
(Up 4 new cases, 1 new death since yesterday)
St. Landry Parish: 324 cases, 55 deaths
(Up 1 new case, 1 new death since yesterday)
Acadia Parish: 529 cases, 31 deaths
(Up 9 new cases, 2 new deaths since yesterday)
Evangeline Parish: 85 cases, 1 death
(Up 0 new cases, 0 new deaths since yesterday)
Vermilion Parish: 65 cases, 4 deaths
(Up 3 new cases, 0 new deaths since yesterday)
The numbers are updated and released every day at noon.
