LDH: June 25th Louisiana COVID-19 Update
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Thursday, June 25th.
There have been 53,415 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. There are 938 more reported cases since yesterday.
LDH says they have implemented a new process for improved de-duplication and parish assignment of data received from labs around the state.
Numbers show that there are 653 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized - 22 more than yesterday.
77 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is the same amount of patients since yesterday.
The total number of deaths reported due to the coronavirus is now at 3,051, an increase of 12 since yesterday.
As of today, 39,792 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered. That's 2,775 more recovered patients since last week.
The total number of coronavirus cases that have been in the Acadiana region is 4,708 with 240 total deaths reported.
Lafayette Parish: 1,723 1,654 total cases, 37 total deaths
