LDH: LABOR DAY Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Monday, September 7th.
There have been 153,177 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 305 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 787 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 3 fewer reported hospitalizations since yesterday.
124 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 5 more patients on ventilators than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,942. That is 12 more reported deaths since yesterday.
134,432 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 31st. That's 6,514 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,449 total cases, 115 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,762 total cases, 87 total deaths
(Up 3 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Martin Parish: 2,005 total cases, 58 total deaths
(Up 6 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Mary Parish: 1,791 total cases, 72 total deaths
(Up 3 reported case since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Landry Parish: 3,156 total cases, 116 total deaths
(Down 5 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Acadia Parish: 2,853 total cases, 94 total deaths
(Up 9 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Evangeline Parish: 1,202 total cases, 28 total deaths
(Down 1 reported case since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Vermilion Parish: 1,908 total cases, 50 total deaths
(Down 7 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
The numbers are updated and released every day except Saturdays at noon.
