LDH: November 12th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE

The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Thursday, November 12th.

There have been 191,889 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 2,173 more reported cases since Tuesday (numbers weren't announced on Veteran's Day).

There are currently 676 COVID patients in the hospital. There are 59 COVID patients on ventilators.

LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,863. That is 34 more reported deaths than Tuesday.

176,107 COVID-19 patients are presumed recovered, as of 11/09/2020.

Lafayette Parish: 9,878 total cases, 141 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 3,166 total cases, 99 total deaths

St. Martin Parish: 2,343 total cases, 65 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 2,092 total cases, 87 total deaths

St. Landry Parish: 3,925 total cases, 140 total deaths

Acadia Parish: 3,432 total cases, 108 total deaths

Evangeline Parish: 1,510 total cases, 40 total deaths

Vermilion Parish: 2,201 total cases, 70 total deaths
