LDH: November 17th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Tuesday, November 17th.
There have been 199,659 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 2,592 more new cases since yesterday.
There are currently 874 COVID patients in the hospital. There are 92 COVID patients on ventilators.
LDH reports the confirmed deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,916. There is 17 more new deaths than yesterday.
176,107 COVID-19 patients are presumed recovered, as of 11/09/2020.
Below are some stats released from the Louisiana Department of Health:
- Individuals between 18-29 represent 23% of these cases
- Since yesterday, 33,422 new tests have been reported to the state, bringing the total number of tests to 3,133,899. Of the tests reported today, 30,660 were PCR tests and 2,762 were antigen tests.
Lafayette Parish: 10,447 confirmed cases, 142 confirmed deaths
Iberia Parish: 3,320 confirmed cases, 100 confirmed deaths
St. Martin Parish: 2,467 confirmed cases, 65 confirmed deaths
St. Mary Parish: 2,163 confirmed cases, 89 confirmed deaths
St. Landry Parish: 4,243 confirmed cases, 141 confirmed deaths
Acadia Parish: 3,570 confirmed cases, 112 confirmed deaths
Evangeline Parish: 1,618 confirmed cases, 40 confirmed deaths
Vermilion Parish: 2,335 confirmed cases, 70 confirmed deaths
