LDH: November 23rd Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Monday, November 23rd.
There have been 211,094 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. The total number of cases reported to the state is 221,160. Today added 971 more new cases since yesterday.
There are currently 1,012 COVID patients in the hospital.
There are 114 COVID patients on ventilators.
LDH reports the confirmed deaths due to COVID-19 is 6,039. The current total death count is 6,284 (includes probable deaths). Today added 24 more new deaths than yesterday.
185,960 COVID-19 patients are presumed recovered, as of 11/16/2020. That's 9,853 presumed recovered patients since 11/9/20.
Below are some stats released from the Louisiana Department of Health:
- Individuals between 18-29 represent 20% of these cases.
- Since yesterday, 10,417 new tests have been reported to the state, bringing the total number of tests to 3,341,741. Of the tests reported today, 10,248 were PCR tests and 169 were antigen tests.
Lafayette Parish: 11,173 confirmed cases, 144 confirmed deaths
Iberia Parish: 3,439 confirmed cases, 101 confirmed deaths
St. Martin Parish: 2,541 confirmed cases, 65 confirmed deaths
St. Mary Parish: 2,226 confirmed cases, 89 confirmed deaths
St. Landry Parish: 4,626 confirmed cases, 143 confirmed deaths
Acadia Parish: 3,737 confirmed cases, 112 confirmed deaths
Evangeline Parish: 1,737 confirmed cases, 43 confirmed deaths
Vermilion Parish: 2,441 confirmed cases, 73 confirmed deaths
