LDH: October 13th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE

The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Tuesday, October 13th.

There have been 172,801 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 653 more reported cases since yesterday.

Numbers show that there are 573 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized.

68 patients are on ventilators across the state.

LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,486. That is 10 more reported deaths than yesterday.

Lafayette Parish: 9,183 total cases, 136 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 3,021 total cases, 92 total deaths

St. Martin Parish: 2,140 total cases, 61 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,979 total cases, 81 total deaths

St. Landry Parish: 3,486 total cases, 130 total deaths

Acadia Parish: 3,028 total cases, 99 total deaths

Evangeline Parish: 1,372 total cases, 36 total deaths

Vermilion Parish: 2,076 total cases, 68 total deaths
