LDH: October 27th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE

The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Tuesday, October 27th.

There have been 180,991 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 885 more reported cases since yesterday.

Numbers show that there are 600 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized.

91 patients are on ventilators across the state.

LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,666. That is 18 more reported deaths than yesterday.

165,282 COVID-19 patients are presumed recovered.

Lafayette Parish: 9,463 total cases, 139 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 3,072 total cases, 96 total deaths

St. Martin Parish: 2,218 total cases, 63 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 2,021 total cases, 86 total deaths

St. Landry Parish: 3,678 total cases, 135 total deaths

Acadia Parish: 3,139 total cases, 101 total deaths

Evangeline Parish: 1,413 total cases, 39 total deaths

Vermilion Parish: 2,125 total cases, 70 total deaths
