LDH: October 5th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Monday, October 5th.
There have been 168,512 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 230 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 547 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized.
71 patients are on ventilators across the state.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,396. That is 9 more reported deaths since yesterday.
154,163 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 28th. That's 4,523 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 9,073 total cases, 135 total deaths
Iberia Parish: 2,989 total cases, 90 total deaths
St. Martin Parish: 2,116 total cases, 61 total deaths
St. Mary Parish: 1,958 total cases, 78 total deaths
St. Landry Parish: 3,390 total cases, 128 total deaths
Acadia Parish: 2,993 total cases, 99 total deaths
Evangeline Parish: 1,344 total cases, 34 total deaths
Vermilion Parish: 2,057 total cases, 65 total deaths
