LDH: October 6th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Tuesday, October 6th.
There have been 169,044 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 506 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 567 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized.
71 patients are on ventilators across the state.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,402. That is 6 more reported deaths since yesterday.
154,163 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 28th. That's 4,523 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 9,082 total cases, 135 total deaths
Iberia Parish: 2,998 total cases, 90 total deaths
St. Martin Parish: 2,124 total cases, 61 total deaths
St. Mary Parish: 1,956 total cases, 78 total deaths
St. Landry Parish: 3,403 total cases, 128 total deaths
Acadia Parish: 3,000 total cases, 99 total deaths
Evangeline Parish: 1,353 total cases, 34 total deaths
Vermilion Parish: 2,060 total cases, 66 total deaths
