LDH: September 15th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Tuesday, September 15th.
There have been 158,318 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 426 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 667 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 3 more reported hospitalizations since yesterday.
99 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 8 fewer patients on ventilators than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,108. That is 26 more reported deaths since yesterday.
140,440 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 7th. That's 6,008 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,709 total cases, 122 total deaths
(Up 3 reported cases since yesterday, Up 1 reported death since yesterday)
Iberia Parish: 2,849 total cases, 89 total deaths
(Up 2 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Martin Parish: 2,051 total cases, 59 total deaths
(Up 9 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Mary Parish: 1,843 total cases, 75 total deaths
(Up 7 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Landry Parish: 3,230 total cases, 120 total deaths
(Down 2 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Acadia Parish: 2,897 total cases, 94 total deaths
(Up 6 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Evangeline Parish: 1,270 total cases, 30 total deaths
(Up 5 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Vermilion Parish: 1,980 total cases, 55 total deaths
(Down 5 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
The numbers are updated and released every day except Saturdays at noon.
