LDH: September 17th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Thursday, September 17th.
There have been 159,304 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 500 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 663 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 15 more reported hospitalizations since yesterday.
106 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 1 fewer patient on a ventilator than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,143. That is 17 more reported deaths since yesterday.
145,570 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 14th. That's 5,130 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,750 total cases, 122 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,850 total cases, 89 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,861 total cases, 75 total deaths

St. Landry Parish: 3,239 total cases, 120 total deaths

Acadia Parish: 2,907 total cases, 94 total deaths
